With mixed emotions, we would like to announce the retirement of Sherry Wick, CPNP, effective May 1, 2020. She has been with Neighborhood Pediatrics from the beginning. She has been an outstanding clinician, mentor, and friend. She is beloved by her patients and will be deeply missed by all of us but we are excited for her to begin the next phase of life. We know that you all join with us in wishing her well.
We are happy to announce that Kathleen Kress-Farrell, CPNP, has joined our practice so we can continue to provide care for all of our patients.
A message from Sherry Wick, CPNP:
Neighborhood Pediatrics Families,
I am writing to share with you news of happiness and sadness. After 20 years of working at Neighborhood Pediatrics, I have decided to retire. I felt it was the right time to begin spending more time with my family. I am blessed with many grandkids who happen to be growing up way too quickly.
The sad news is that I will miss all of you. Some of you I met 20 years ago when we opened the practice and I have so enjoyed watching your children grow, change, struggle, achieve, and love. Some of them I have watched become parents and then you become grandparents. You have given me an amazing collection of memories.
Thank you for trusting me to take care of your children. Thank you for all the wisdom you have shared with me. Thank you for all your support and kindness.
To all the children, just know you are amazingly special just as you are. Be safe and strong. Be kind to yourself and to others. Work hard to become everything you dream of becoming.
To the parents, you have a difficult and rewarding job. I respect and admire all that you do for your children. Hug them often and listen to their wisdom.
At Neighborhood Pediatrics, we are like family caring for others and each other. You and your children are family to me, and I have loved each of you in a special way. Thank you for the memories, the hugs and smiles. I will always hold them close to my heart.
I leave you in the care of our wise and amazing staff at Neighborhood Pediatrics, my second family. Life is a beautiful adventure and you have all been part of mine!
Sherry Wick, CPNP
Meet our team at Neighborhood Pediatrics! Please take a few moments to learn about our skilled pediatric practitioners and our friendly, nurturing staff.
At Neighborhood Pediatrics, we consider it both a great joy and responsibility to care for children. Most of us are parents ourselves, so we strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve. We are honored that you have chosen us as your child's primary medical provider and are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of care and service that we can provide you and your family.
A vital part of our service to children begins with our outstanding staff who works hard to manage and maintain a professional, caring and supportive environment for our patients in a timely manner. Our doctors and nurse practitioner are lifelong learners. Not only have they received advanced medical training in pediatrics, they continually pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest in child health care.
Your child's health is as important to us as it is to you. We look forward to providing you with excellent medical care your child deserves.
